With fresh family stories about her mother and her grandparents, Cho also takes aim at the Palins, her stint on Dancing With the Stars, (where both gay pride and bullying were platforms for her), smoking pot and living in a world with ‘sexting,’ as well as performing songs from her Grammy nominated album of the same name. First glance, you might think this is just a bunch of demos, some of which ultimately became the album, and you wouldn't be wrong...but you kind of would be, too. These might be demos, but some are tracks that never made it to the record, and some, like "Astronaut", didn't really change much from the version shown here. More instruments got added and whatnot, but at its core, it's still raw and visceral, which reflects this whole alternate tracks version. It's a visceral, edgy beginning...
